Japan Auto Parts Industries Association (JAPIA) was established in August 1969 on the foundations of a predecessor organization created in 1938. Its chief aims are to promote the sound development of the auto parts manufacturing industry and contribute to social and economic welfare.

Today, with their annual turnover in auto parts exceeding 13 trillion yen, JAPIA members are helping to support the automobile industry on a global basis. Recently JAPIA member manufacturers have placed an urgent priority on a number of issues, including the need for corporate restructuring, that must be satisfactorily addressed in order to ensure the vitality of the industry in the years ahead and its continued contribution to the national economy.
On an ongoing basis JAPIA member companies are also responding to challenging social requirements in the areas of vehicle safety and environmental protection, and are doing so increasingly in the context of international cooperation. High-quality auto parts supplied by JAPIA member companies are making an important contribution to safe and comfortable vehicle operation worldwide.

Overview of Japan Automobile Association of Industry Associations (JAPIA)
General Association of Japan Automobile Association of Industry Associations is a trade association established in 1969 (August 1949) by reorganizing the automobile parts industry association. That is the predecessor of the company, as a highly publicly recognized foundation corporation. Shipment value of automotive parts of the sub-committee member companies now amounts to about 20 trillion yen, supporting the creation of automobiles not only in Japan but also around the world.
In order to make the car safe and comfortable, every single high-quality part contributes greatly. The environment surrounding the automotive parts industry is much more severe, we face a number of challenges such as responding to structural changes, responding to environmental problems, promoting international cooperation, and at the subcommittee, work together with member companies to positively address these problems We are working on it.
In the department workshop, we will promote the sound development of the “car society” through the automobile industry, and will actively develop business activities to contribute to the development of the Japanese economy and society.
