Martin France: Martin is a leading French automobiles manufacturer company Ltd, established since 1972. Its founder, “Georges Martin”, at first he manufacturer motorcycle frames in 1972, and decided from 1989 to market models of fictive automobiles at reduced cost. These were delivered compiled, but they were also available as a kit. There are various models were manufactured from 1989 to 1998, the first of which was the Martin TTM GMO, a replica of Lotus Super Seven, Came a prototype of AC Cobra, Ford GT40 , but also an original model, the Tilbury.
First he manufactured tubular frames for racing bikes, later also almost complete motorcycles, but it created without engines. Also, in 1984 the prototype of an automobile developed. In 1986, it started the production. In the same year, he renamed Martin Automobiles. The brand name was Martin. The vehicles exported to Belgium, Great Britain, Japan and Portugal. Laurent Pigeau Automobiles from Inning is Ammersee took over the distribution in Germany. The vehicles were available both as complete and as a kit car.
In autumn 1995, the company had 27 employees. The production ended when the company went into liquidation since 1996. Established in Roanne in 1997, Societe Vibration continued the Tilbury model.
The first TTM or TTM GM0 model was a Lotus 7- style roadster. A 4-cylinder engine from the Ford Sierra with a displacement of 1600 cm³ provided the drive. There were prototypes of the AC Cobra with the name Matou and TTM GM 1 and the Ford GT 40 as GTA 40 resp. TTM GM 3. For these models were available V6 engines and V8 engines from Ford with 3000 and 5000 cm³ displacement. Martin also took over the production of Tilbury in 1991, which still marketed as Tilbury.

Martin TTM GM0 (Super seven)
It is a copy of Lotus Super Seven which gets mechanical elements mainly from the Ford Sierra. The car outfitted with a tubular frame on which fixed the box composed of aluminum panels riveted and glued on the latter and removable elements of fiberglass.
Martin GM1 (AC Cobra)
It is a replica of AC Cobra, it composed with a chassis of strong square part, it receives mechanical elements of origin Ford Granada and Ford Scorpio , it is mechanical by the 2.9-liter V6 . The body is made of fiberglass and is in the form of a shell screwed to the frame, receiving the opening made of the same material.
Martin GM3 (Ford GT40)
It is a replica Ford GT40 integrated with a tubular chassis on which rests a Ford mechanics and it powered by a V6. The body prepared with aluminum and fiberglass. Martin’s GT40 model the last one produced by this manufacturer, which faced serious problems of homologation.
It is an original 2-seater roadster vehicle, reminiscent of Morgan models. In 1976, the convertible Tilbury designed by Yves Charles, designer modeler framework. In 1991, Martin awarded the license to operate the Tilbury roadster. This car uses a platform from the Renault 4 GTL on which is keep a hull made of fiberglass. The car included leather interior and a nice finish. Martin will cease its activities in 1996 after production sold between 130 and 140 Tilbury.
