Daihatsu Altis vs Suzuki Baleno- Comparison of two amazing cars.

Considering Daihatsu Altis vs Suzuki Baleno, both are having tremendous features and qualities to die for. But since our pockets won’t allow us to go for both the options. In any case, you have to choose one. So, let us here have a detailed discussion between Daihatsu Altis vs Suzuki Baleno to arrive at which one is better. We are going to discuss here their specifications in detail to find our suitability and accordingly can decide where to proceed further.

Daihatsu Altis

The Daihatsu Altis is a Sedan model and is also known as produced by OEM cooperation firms Daihatsu and Toyota. The first is bifurcated into key penalties, receiving from well-known brand business class models. The only difference between the cars is the name and emblem.

Therefore, there is great selling of Altis in the Japanese market exclusively in hybrid versions with 2.5-liter petrol engines. The model is running on the Atkinson cycle, CVT, and 105 Kilowatt electric motor.

Equipment’s of Daihatsu Altis

The Daihatsu Altis comes in two additional motion modes. It also has eco limits energy consumers, for instance, heating and air conditioning. EV to 40 Km/h enables us to move only on electricity. If the total capacity is estimated at 200 liters and the fuel consumption estimated for urban areas.

The suburban and combined cycle is 5.47; 6.03 and 5.74 l / 100 km. There are four airbags, curtain and cushion the knee, stabilizing system, rain sensor, multifunctional steering wheel, cruise control, Bluetooth, rear-view camera, touch screen, power driver seat.

Specifications

The car was introduced in 2000 and known to be a middle-class sedan. This model is based on the Toyota Camry Model however under the brand Daihatsu. There is the borrowing of designs and which is further produced by other companies and under different names as OEM.

The name of the model is obtained from the English word Altitude. The altitude means mountain. It is like for the first time that the company took up the initiative to release a sedan having a body of 3rd dimensional group. It is trying to keep up the advantages of the Toyota Camry model. The interior is spacious characteristic for the front-middle-class sedan and the luggage compartment volume.

The model is equipped with a 2.2 litre 4 cylinder engine. Moreover it has front wheel drive in addition to the modification 4WD.One result of this upgrade was the increase in engine capacity from 2.2 to 2.4 litres.

Interior and Exterior

The interior and exterior of the car are setting an example in the automobile industry. When we talk about the interior, there is a feeling of comfort and luxury with high-quality material used in it.

When driven on the road, the exterior has its own class, the sharp and the elegant look make this car a perfect choice due to its simple and classy looks.

Suzuki Baleno

The existence of Suzuki Baleno’s is one of the more puzzling features in the automation industry. It is a car that gives a tough competition to its competitors in the small hatchback segment.

Buy Japan Used Suzuki Baleno

People are still likely to buy what industry calls it light cars. The Suzuki Baleno is one of the good ideas. Its competitor Suzuki Swift has the same path of sales ground in the city-sized segment.

The Baleno appears too tame, timid, and, well, blergh. But according to VFacts, Suzuki shifts at least a hundred of these per month, sometimes it is over 200.

Design

The Suzuki Baleno perfectly reflects the brand’s Liquid Flow design language. All the cars under this brand are better looking and at least characterful.

Baleno’s facelift which is most likely a new front bumper and a headlight tweak is going to improve the overall looks. The car appears to have some filler pumped into its cheeks.

The car does not seem to look attractive from the front. This is due to the grille overpowered by the lower fascia’s sheer breadth. The profile and rear are anonymous. In order to ensure its anonymity, there is little in the way of adornment.

Engine & Transmission

There is 1.4 liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder musters up 68 kW at 6000 rpm and 130 Nm 2000 rpm. The Baleno in all is not doing badly.

There’s an old relic in the transmission department. Power reaches the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. You can’t buy a Baleno with 1.0-litre turbo anymore, which is a bit of shame.

Fuel consumption

On the combined cycle, you are going to get 5.4 L/100 Km. this isn’t too far off reality, our time delivering 6.6L/100Km.

Suzuki says you’ll get 5.4L/100km on the combined cycle, which isn’t too far off reality, our time delivering around 6.6L/100km. Another advantage is that even though the fuel tank is just 37 liters, you are not going to spend half your life filling up.

Final Words

Well, it is difficult to choose between the two. One side there is Daihatsu Altis having  four airbags, curtain and cushion the knee, stabilizing system, rain sensor, multifunctional steering wheel, cruise control, Bluetooth, rear-view camera, touch screen, power driver seat.

On the other side, Suzuki Baleno which perfectly reflects the brand’s Liquid Flow design language. From an interior point of view, Daihatsu Altis is preferable. But it does not mean Baleno is worthy. In order to decide between the two, take proper testing of the car and analyse the difference. You can also check the models on Japanese Car Trade and can arrive at the right conclusion.
