The Honda Jazz has always been a very spacious hatchback and it remains to be very roomy in this model. However, the current seating layout and adjustments continue to add to a lot of practicality.
The cabin gets a huge update. The dual-tone treatment, the leatherette padding, the contrast stitching, all show how premium the i20 has grown. There is a new digital instrument cluster as well and the excellent animation, and a TFT screen with lots of information – including tire pressure monitoring.
Holding the middle stage on the dashboard is that 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The touchscreen remains over the middle AC vents, which are included in the horizontal blades that extend to the other end of the dashboard. There are some sensible switches and buttons for basic functions installed lower on the middle console, and there’s wireless charging as well.
The Hyundai i20 comes packed to the gills with hallmarks and a bunch of segment-first hallmarks as well. It comes with Bluelink connectivity now, which presents it as a logical car, the first in the segment. 50 highlights are on presentation and yes, we’ve seen this on the Verna, Creta, Elantra, and several other cars from the Hyundai shelter. It arrives with rear AC vents, climate control, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and even a sunroof, which is a first-in-segment innovation offering.
Honda Jazz vs Hyundai I20: Exterior
Like most of the Honda Jazz is one of the premium models in its class. The front portion of the car is simply amazing and this is due to the large quarter windows at the front door. The rearview from the car is perfect due to the large outer rearview mirrors. As far as aesthetics, the Honda jazz has a neat arrowhead-like design and it is pleasing to the eyes. It also comes with a semi-tallboy design that really excites me.
The new i20 will give LED projector headlamps. The styling is very smooth and the design has been built to seamlessly blend into the front grille for a vibrant appearance. The front is pretty obvious with the big Hyundai trademark grille which will be available in an all-black finish. The higher-spec variants of the i20 will have it completed in gloss black of course.
At the rear, Hyundai remains to apply its sharp design language. The tail lamps have been designed to highlight a ‘Z’ symbol. Something we have seen in other latest-generation Hyundai models as well. On the tailgate, Hyundai has provided the i20 a reflector that runs across the rear diameter of the car. Enabling the vehicle to strengthen its now broader stance. The higher-spec models will highlight a chrome strip on them. But it would have been better if it was left bare as in for a more sophisticated aspect.

Hyundai gives the new i20 with a range of various wheels. The base ‘Magna’ model will highlight 185/65 R15 sized steelies. Still, the Sportz alternative of the i20 will get 195/55 R16 alloy wheels. But with the Asta and Asta (O) 195/55 R16 diamond cut alloy wheels will be given. 16-inch sizes are the biggest that will be available on the model.
