Nissan March vs Kia Picanto: Nissan March is a supermini manufactured by Japanese automobile producer Nissan since 1982 while the Kia Picanto is a city car manufactured by the South Korean automobile producer Kia since 2004. The Picanto is essentially invented at the Donghee joint-venture plant in Seosan, South Korea, though some countries regionally construct complete knock-down versions of the car.

When it comes to the engine, the Nissan March offers four variants: 1 liter, 1.2 liters, 1.4 liters, and 1.5 liters that you can choose from. It also offers a five-speed automatic transmission and for manual transmission, it offers a four-speed transmission for all engines. When it comes to the Nissan March, most people do not opt for a one-liter engine.

The little Picanto gives a variety of decent power or automatic transmission, but not both: only the middle-child engine, an 83-hp 1.3-liter four-cylinder, can be optioned with a behind-the-times four-speed automatic transmission. A five-speed manual gets standard and is the single transmission given with the bottom-of-the-barrel 66-hp 1.0-liter three-cylinder and the top 99-hp turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder engines. The recent assembly is also able to create a healthy 127 lb-ft of torque from as small as 1500 rpm and can use the little Picanto to 62 mph in just over 10 seconds.

The 2004 Nissan March is a component of the K12 third generation that was revealed at the Paris Motor Show in 2002. The third generation marked a radical redesign that was badly needed to stay the March relevant in its key markets. The March, just like the Passo, is thought for its Spartan, yet comfortable interior. In earlier generations, Nissan allowed the standard minimalistic feeling of a supermini to creep into the inside of the March, but collaboration with Renault for the third generation pushed this tendency into history where it belonged.

This combines a sporty three-spoke steering wheel, simple gauges, and HVAC controls, and a protruding infotainment system with an available 7.0-inch touchscreen interface. Rear-seat conveniences are comparable to those of the Spark, with the Picanto’s 32.2 inches of legroom coming to the small Chevy by 0.8 inches. For the third era of the March, Nissan had the premonition to team up with Renault to support styling and engage. The result was a car that was greatly improved overall past iterations. The K12 discharge firmly followed the lines of the Nissan MM-e idea showed at the 2001 Frankfurt Engine Show.

The new features of the March include a wheelbase that’s 70 mm longer than previous generations, an exterior that’s curvy and vivacious, headlamps that touch the wing-tops, and a stance that’s both taller and wider. The third generation of the March also introduced a versatility in body styles that’s uncommon within the supermini class; offering a three-door and five-door hatchback moreover as a two-door convertible & coupe. In terms of exterior, the redesigned ‘tiger-nose’ grille makes a single silver-finished louver. The headlamps get redesigned LED designation while the lower bumper has been re-profiled as well. Even the taillamps get a redesign LED lighting which looks truly upmarket than before. The GT-Line gets dual chrome-finished exhaust tips at the back but they seem to be faux rather than practical. The hatchback additionally gets 16-inch alloy wheels as voluntary.
