Nissan Skyline JDM Car 1969 - 1979

Nissan Skyline JDM car is a sports car based on the Nissan Skyline Area. The first car called “Skyline GTR” was produced from 1969 to 1972 under the model code KPGC10 and succeeded in Japanese touring car events. This model of JDM car followed the model code KPGC110, 1973 and followed the short production operation of the second generation car.

 The first skyline GTR JDM car known from the Nissan name of PGC10 was introduced on February 4, 1969, and Japan’s Nissan Dealer  Prince Company in 1966 and Nissan Prince Shop when integrated in Nissan Business in 1966.It was advertised with the Nissan R380 race car to showcase the Skyline racing emblem. It was manufactured by Nissan in 2-door Coupe body style.

Engine Specification:

This JDM car is equipped with a 2.0L DOHC S20 in-line 6-cylinder engine with a rating of 119kW (162 PS; 160 hp), 7,000 rpm, 176 N⋅ m (130 lb ⋅ ft), and 5,600 rpm.In this JDM car power was sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox, and the car was equipped with a limited slip differential.

Interior Features:

The first Skyline GTR JDM used a semi-trailing arm strut suspension. In this JDM the braking system consisted of front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. In March 1971, this jdm was able to get in a Coupe body style equipped with Chassis Code KPGC10. The interior of this JDM car presented a steering wheel and wood insert with a racing blade and a sloth poker. The pedal was completed with aluminum. KPGC10, KPGC 110 successors of this JDM Model were introduced in 1973 after being introduced at the Tokyo Engine Show in 1972. 1,989 CC-S20 INLINE 6 Operated with the engine and provides the GTR power of GTR’s second generation GTR with 5-REAP manual transmissions.The suspension is a semi-drag ring arm setup with minor aerodynamic parts added.

Exterior Features:

This JDM car was large enough for four adults, even if its wheelbase was shorter by 70 mm (2.75”).  The front design incorporated a unique box design that surrounded the dual headlight housings on both sides. This GTR JDM model was also known as the Kenmeri Skyline because of its popular advertisement featuring a young couple (Ken and Mary) enjoying the scenery of Hokkaido. This ad later produced a buzz hit, and the trees that appeared in the ad later became minor stars in their own right. Unfortunately, the second-generation GTR JDM was unsuccessful due to the gasoline crisis in the early 1970s and the depletion of demand for high-performance sports cars.
