Engine Specification:

In May 1998, the HR34, ER34, ENR34, and BNR34 JDM Models marked the introduction of the more economical and environmentally friendly RB25DETNEO engine. The RB20E engine was discontinued in the R34 base model (GT) and the last used RB20E on the R32 Skyline was reintroduced in an updated NEO guise.

 Equipped with the RB20DET NEO and combined with a 5-speed gearbox, the R34 GT JDM car has become the most fuel-efficient in-line 6-cylinder skyline ever. The 4-speed automatic transmission available on some models of JDM cars have been maintained and upgraded with Tiptronic-style manual control.

Export Market:

The export market 25GT Turbo Coupe Variant of this JDM car (often abbreviated as GTT) was sold in Singapore and Hong Kong from 1998 to 2000, and the improved 25GT Turbo was sold in New Zealand from 2001 to 2002 with GTR VSpec. These were the only three countries other than Japan, which sold the R34 25GT turbo model SkyLine JDM car. Interiors Features:

For the interior of this JDM car , the pedals were switched from rubber to aluminum, the gear knobs and steering wheel were made of genuine leather with a two-tone design, and the latter was given the Skyline “S” badge instead of the Nissan logo. The center console and dial have an iridium silver appearance. It used to look like gunmetal gray.


Exterior Features:

The R34 JDM’s optional exterior touch included an exterior aero consisting of redesigned front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and a rear wraparound spoiler that was only available on the coupe. Optional tuning NISMO parts for the R34 included shock absorbers, variable sports exhaust systems, aluminum intercoolers, anti-roll bars, oil coolers, and limited slip differentials.
