Toyota Alphard comes in different variations and you have the option to access to choose from different shades. You can choose options from the exterior and for the interior; it comes with a silver and gold impression. It is basically a seven-seater car and has an ample amount of boot space when you put the back seats off. The beat is usually manual but the sliding doors are automatic.

Moreover, going much inside, there is room for leg rest with various storage options and also a personal folding table. You may also find an option of memory seats where you can save up to two seating positions. On the other side, there is a leather steering wheel, infotainment, 17 JBL speaker, and personal AC for rear seats.

The Mercedes stands with seats that are further traditional but also more adaptable. They are more modest in size and function. They lean and have armrests, but are not as luxurious and lack that bed-like arrangement. The V-Class interior is more generous, too, gratitude to an extra-long wheelbase that bears more prominent legroom for both second and third lines. It also has the advantage in baggage space. No surprise it’s the vehicle of selection for transportation and traveling in various towns.

There’s no uncertainty a fan driver will favor the V-Class. As for the backseat resident, except if you want the Alphard’s armchairs, the V-Class’s more modern interior choices and comfort features are sufficient to arrange it over the Alphard.

Toyota Alphard vs Mercedes Benz V-Class: Engine

Toyota Alphard Engine

The new Toyota Alphard packs a good 2362 cc engine that generates 168 HP. Where Elgrand creates the energy of 344 Nm, within the case of Alphard its 224 Nm only. So, this significant round goes within the name of Elgrand.

The 2.4-liter petrol engine has been developed specifically for use in Toyota Alphard. There are some safety features as well such as a pre-crash safety system, seven airbags, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, and Vehicle Stability Control.

Mercedes Benz V-Class Engine

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class has a slight improvement here, it is powered by a theoretically economical diesel engine. The V-Class is available with a BS6-compliant 2.1-liter diesel engine generating 163PS/380Nm. The facelifted V-Class, meantime, utilizes a 2.0-liter engine in two phases of strain: V 250 d with 190PS/440Nm and V 300 d with 239PS/500Nm. The new engine also appears mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission rather than the current 7-speed automatic gearbox. Top-end power is limited, but there’s usually no need to rev the engine hard. The highest torque appears early and is enough to move the van immediately. The transmission is a seven-speed automatic.
