The Toyota MR2 JDM Car was manufactured in Japan and was manufactured by Toyota from 1984 to 2007 with the W10 (1984–1989), W20 (1990–1999) and W30 (2000–2007). The name MR2 stands for either “midship runabout 2-seater” or “mid-engine, rear wheel drive, 2-seater”. In the French-speaking market, the vehicle was renamed Toyota MR because the abbreviation “MR2” sounds obscene in French.
